Corruption: The Indian menace.....

India what we and the world says as the land of values is somewhere degrading. The values are being lost in the wake and the back-light of being wealthy. All the world is suffering from the menace of the corruption but none other than a vast, largest democracy and the second fastest developing economy like India will be affected by it. Corruption has become everyday topic of the discussion of the  (awakened) youth. It has affected various strata of our society. Let's talk in briefly about some facts of the corruption.
Now the issue of corruption is such that none in our country can be added to its exception. Corruption is everywhere. From a "tahasildar", maybe till the highest post in India (President). India is the second largest growing economy in the world. But its most dangerous challenge is the corruption. In India the people are the main cause of the corruption. Whenever a official demands bribe people are openly giving it.
See the above video even if you don't read the blog post. According to the World Anti-Corruption report 2007, India ranked 72nd in the world's most corrupted list, while in the list declared at the end of 2010, India dropped to 87th rank ! A fall by 15 ranks in the list. While USA has backed a position of 22nd and Norway ranked 1st. Thus you may see that India's rank is falling day by day. In India the most main problem lies due to the poor judiciary. Whenever a man files a case against the corrupt officer, the justice gets so delayed that the work of the man remains pending for a long duration. So people in India generally give a small amount and get their work done. But no one thinks that because of his one bribe what will be effect on the economy of the nation. Bribe means black money on which no tax is paid. Hence, literally this is the theft of the Indian money.
The basic values that are being taught in the school, the teachers are only not imitating them, what will be the impression on the student who sees this. Todays Indian youth is mainly indulged in the creative activities, but he never realizes that cleaning the country of corruption is one of the most creative things. Youth in India has no give and take for the corruption. Very very few NGO's like AGNI in Mumbai, India unheard that is a video volunteer network etc. Do you know that the rate of corruption is so high in India that every 3rd Indian is corrupted. Well that's maybe a proud thing to be different, but that hampers our progress. Every one just criticizes the policies and the corrupt nature of the officials but no one dares to raise its voice.... why ? The most main reason for this is time and fear. People don't have time for this and secondly they fear of the execution techniques of violence followed by the victims. But Indian's listen, if this things would have had become a barrier then India would never have got independence. Just remember those great souls and go on for the struggle. I want to name an RTI activist Arun Mane in Pune. He is working for removing corruption voluntarily. Recently he was attacked and just suffered minor injuries due to his self defense. His mother was crying for him but he said that nothing had happened to him and these things wont detour his work against the corrupted.
